Hi all,
My son has managed to change the language in appstore to something in chinese or japanese.
I checked in my own phone but cannot see any apparent way to change language.
Any help is real appreciated :)

Sometimes, App Store language is changed based on where the store is, be it in China or Japan, you will see either Japanese or Chinese.
You can try to adjust iPhone language setting and see how it goes.

OK, we´re based in Sweden so I don´t know how that could´ve happened. Everything else is ok.
I´ll check it out when I get home.
Where do I change language i an iPhone?
TIA

System wide or ONLY in the App Store app?
[doublepost=1467201690][/doublepost]Within the App Store app
  • there are 5 icons on the bottom. Click the star.
  • Scroll all the way to the bottom. There should be 3 rounded rectangles. One of them should be your AppleID. Select it.
  • You will then get an overplayed window with 4 choices. Select the first one.
  • You will now be in Account Settings. There should be 1 choice with your AppleID and then3 choices below that. Of the 3 choices, choose the 3rd.
  • Then you will have a window with only 1 choice (to change country or region. Choose this.
  • You will then be presented with a list of countries. Make sure yours is selected and confirm it.
Best of luck.

Right on the Money! That´s exactly what I need to know. It´s only in the appstore and I´ve just followed it on my own iPhone.
I´m certain this will do the trick, but I wonder how the hell he got this deep into appstores controls :D

I´ll return later to confirm this was the case :)

He followed a link to download an app which wasnt available in your country. Appstore asked "The app isnt available in your country, would you like to change the store?" And he clicked "change the store"-button... Thats all it needs.

I only see English because my iPhone language is set to English so I didn't know this trick before.
Good catch. :)
