This would seem to be a basic need, anyone who changed numbers would go through. Changed number due to a relocation, created a iCloud group of people to notify, but there doesn't appear to be a native way to do that (how does Apple not allow you to message a iCloud group, WTF?). So I went third party and first downloaded "Text2Group" but quickly realized that app cannot pull from existing group, bummer. Then paid to download "Group Text" since they claim to source iCloud groups, problem here is the app is saying go to "Settings - Privacy Contacts" but when I do the app is not listed (but Text2Group was). Any advice? Seems like many people would do the same thing I am attempting, sure has been frustrating!

Most folks nowadays relocate and keep their same number even if they switch carriers or change phones. Why did you need to change your phone number?

Can you not create an iMessage group and send a text to every one?!

Guessing you don’t like to share everyone’s number.

You can use a Siri shortcut.

You can use filters too in this example I’m only sending to those whose last name is John. Plus is sends each message individually so you won’t have a group chat and share numbers.

thanks, my wife ended up doing manually. She changed her number because she started a business and wanted to have a local number.
