I read on Apple's 300+ new features page that Airport had been updated but it wasn't very descriptive. It mentioned showing secure networks but not much more.

Certain features are lacking on tiger (for example not knowing which networks are secured, show signal strength before connecting, random disconnects at times, lag when clicking on icon, etc)

Anyone know if these have been addressed, as well as what else to expect? :)

The red two are fixed :)

If you option-click the airport icon in the menu bar, you see them in order of best signal to worst. I know it doesnt answer your question but its cool to know!

I would like to see some of the features Kismac has,
> Signal strength
> Logging APs, Mac addresses, last seen, etc
> IDing hardware from Mac Addresses
> Doing the same for BT devices
> Charting signal strength histogram at variable rate with coloured lines
