hey,

ive got Windows XP installed on my MBP, and the partition icon shows up in OSX. How can i change the Windows XP icon so when i press 'option' during startup i see both customised icons between OSX and XP. OSXs custom icon works, but not XP's. It is formatted in Fat32, therefore http://wiki.onmac.net/index.php/Personalize_your_bootloader doesnt work. any ideas? thanks!

what do u mean? replacing the windows boot loader by that article is only for an NTFS windows partition right? i have a FAT32 partition. follow it anyway is what you mean?

The process is two fold.

1) put a custom icon on a FAT USB stick
2) copy the custom icon to an NTFS partition (under windows)

Since you are using a FAT partition you can just follow (1), but if you want to do it in two steps it'll still work.
