Changing Bootcamp Windows icon

Does anyone know how i can change the icon for the windows partition when booting with the alt key? I already replace the icon under MacOSX but that doesn't have effect. It works fine on the OSX partition, though.

Anyone? Firmware hacktime?

The OP already knows how to change the icon in OS X, it's the boot selector that is in question here.

Necroing this 3 year old thread 😛

Is this even possible - to change the icon of the bootcamp hard drive shown in the boot menu when you hold down the alt key during boot ?

I changed it using Magnifique under Leopard, upgraded to SL and it still works 😛. Don't use Magnifique under SL tho as it has been known to cause kernel panics and the occasional brick, among other things.
