go to File in the finder, color labels is the last option. I think this was re-introduced in Panther (10.3), so it might not be an option in Jaguar (10.2).

Are you just trying to attach coloured labels to your icons, or are you trying to customise the colours?

How do you change the color of the Finder labels in OS X?

I should clarify:

The default label colors have a 3-D, gradient look to them. I went and installed Unsanity's Labels X, which made my labels look flat. I've disabled it, but my labels look the same.

So I guess my question is two-fold:

How can I reset my labels to the default color/shading?
Is there any way to change the default colors, or are those hard-coded?

Thanks
