What I am after is having a different desktop folder for two different spaces (i.e. for all the icons on the desktop).
This can't be done using generic means/system prefs, so I'm wondering if it is at all possible and if it is, how could it be done.
This is the ONLY reason I'm not using spaces at the moment. :(

Hope this can be done... If not, I hope Apple releases something like it in the next OS ;) (I know they won't...)

Short answer, no. But there is another approach.

The (slightly) longer answer can be a different dock for each space (there's an app just for that). Then you can just add new files/folders to each dock you choose to have.

Hope that helps

Thanks :)

Yeah, I was mainly looking at having the other desktop, rather than a rather large and messy stack (in the dock) in one space...

Thanks for the help though...:D
