Changing desktop wallpaper automatically

    Hi how do I change make my wallpaper change for every 12 hours? I have 2 pics i want at night and day time.

    You change it in System Preferences -> Desktop and Screensavers
    But I don't think there is a 12 hour option

    System Preferences > Desktop and Screensaver > Desktop. But the only options are either every hour (or less) or every day.

    Maybe you can find a terminal command for this.

    You could change your thread title appropriately.

    Example: Want to change wallpaper every 12 hours automatically. How? Via Terminal?

    Well you can have it change every hour, so just put 12 copies of one desktop and 12 of the other in a folder and have it cycle through them.
