Changing File Associations Globally in Snow Leopard

After some trouble with Transmission, I decided to try an alternate bitTorrent client and installed uTorrent. Now I'd like to keep Transmission, but change the association of all .torrent files so that they open in uTorrent.

Selecting a .torrent file then Get Info, I am able to change the Open With to uTorrent, but "Change All..." is greyed out. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this would happen, or how to fix it?


edit: I did try rebuilding the Launch Services database, but this didn't help.

Does uTorrent have an option in it's preferences to handle all torrent files?

Also check Transmission, it may be set to handle them all currently.

There are no settings in preferences that would apply.

I suppose deleting transmission and rebuilding launchservices would solve the problem. But I would really like to find out why the "change all" button is unavailable.

I am having the exact same problem ("change all" button is greyed out on a .torrent file). Did anyone figure out how to resolve this?
