Changing files without Jailbreak.

I really want to change my Unlock sound and my SMS tone. That is all I want to do. Can this be done without Jailbreaking? I have acess to Mac and PC. It seems a bit too much effort to Jailbreak and install OpenSSH to change two .caf files!

Nope, you need to jailbreak to access the root.

Is it possible to change the SMS-recieved1.caf in a firmware ipsw then restore to that?

Can you jailbreak 3.0 yet... I'm sure i have read of people that have done it....

Its PC only though.... Cydia now works properly although a lot of apps don't - and dont try Winterboard yet... It will fubar your iPhone...
