Changing Hard Drive in G5

Hi, Presently, I have 500GB for data and 300GB where the OS X is but it's getting full so fast.
I want to buy 1TB to replace the 500GB, then the 500GB will replace the 300GB. How can I move the OS? Do I have to re-install the Leopard CD again?

If you are filling your new hard drives this quickly, then you need to save your files to external storage. Look into tape drives and disc drives.
