In the fine print of the reservation confirmation email it says you may change your iPhone model at the reservation time as long as there are supplies. Do you think that there will be enough stock to switch from a 64GB to a 128GB model on the day of?

My guess is it depends. First, if your store has a reservation for the model you want, book it now.

If someone doesn't show up for their reservation, you'll be in luck.

I'm a little confused. I wanted to go with T-mobile but chose the 64GB, I realized I'd rather pay the extra 5 bucks a month and get the 128gb but they only have it available with Verizon. If I chose Verizon do I HAVE to activate it with Verizon? I thought they were all the same models except for AT&T

Technically speaking the iPhones should be unlocked (whether you plan on using the iPhone UP or pay in full) so it shouldn't matter what model you buy. I placed a reservation for a t-mobile 6S Plus 128 GB but I intend purchase it outright and use slap a AT&T sim in it (although I wouldn't get the band 30, but it's still at beginning stage so I'm not worried).

As for changing the model, I guess it really depends on that apple store. If they have other model available at the time of your pick up, I'm pretty sure it would be fine and they would let you. I plan on doing the same to and see if they have the AT&T Model 6S 128 GB in stock at the time of pick up but if not, I will just stick with t-mobile model and insert my AT&T sim card.

Maybe..... If that unit is gone when you go to Apple.com and try to reserve again they will more than likely not have enough. Any others are probably already set aside for someone else. You may get super lucky if your reservation is right when the store opens. If its past that point, probably not.

If they have it in stock you can but if not you won't be able to. That's why I wouldn't have reserved anything that I wouldn't have been happy to purchase. I wouldn't have reserved a 6S or anything but 128GB because I knew that I wouldn't have been happy with it.
