Does anyone know how to change the keys on a macbook, if it voids the warranty, and where I could buy spares? I'm pretty sure it doesnt void the warranty, but the other questions I have no clue about....

thank you

Changing one by one is a pain in the ass, but shouldn't void the warranty. Changing the whole keyboard would be easier, but requires diassembly of the machine -> bye bye warranty.

I'm guessing that buying them probably won't be that easy. Try asking at apple repair centres, check out eBay. I doubt you will be able to buy a single key, if anything, they'll sell you a whole keyboard.

ya i also need only 2 keys, but 1 huge problem...they only have the plastic scizzor 1's, i need metal =/ what do i do?

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the keys on a slim aluminum mac keyboard with those on a Macbook? I just tried changing the shift pieces and even though they're the same size I couldn't seem to get them into place right.
