Hello, I am fairly new to OS X and it seems as if the mouse animations are set to classic mode. The loading animations look like the ones from an original macintosh. If anyone knows how to change it to the normal animations it would be much appreciated thanks.

You mean the StopWatch icon? That is still in OS X and shows up from time to time. There is no cursor animation options so what you got is what you get.

Otherwise the only other cursor is the spinning beach ball.

if you go to www.unsanity.com you can purchase a program called Mighty Mouse and change all the cursors in that fashion.

    Really

Wow, I didn't think they kept those animations, I could have sworn I saw the beach ball more ofter on other macs. Though I am probably wrong. Thanks for the response everyone.

I think if the programs are not cocoa then it shows the old watch animation.
