I just migrated from my old MacBook to my new MacBook, using Migration Assistant.

My new Macbook is running Ventura.

The home user name on the old Macbook is "Jet". I imported this whole folder.

It set up the new home folder on the new Macbook as "Jet_1" (as you can see in the image below).

I tried to rename it back to "Jet" by going into Users & Groups and setting up another Admin account, logging into that, and then changing the name from there.

But when I restarted and logged into the new "Jet" account, it made me go through the whole setup process again with Apple ID, Siri etc...
It didn't keep the settings as it was on Jet_1.

Anyone know how I can change the name to Jet and also keep my settings and preferences intact without going through the whole setup again?

Appreciate the help,

JH
