Changing payment method after ordering.

I remember from previous pre orders that people have done it with no issues, i actually have a problem with a wrong details on shipping address and hoping it can get fixed.
same with me.
will call tomorrow and change shipping address. hopefully they do it.
I'm wondering about changing payment method too as I reserved it to pay outright but want to change to use my upgrade thru Apple. The closest thing I could find from Apple on this was on the bottom of my reservation. It states:

Yes. You can also upgrade your iPhone to carrier financing or purchase it at full price. Ask a Specialist for more information.
This gives me hope until I can call in a few hours and know for sure. This is a bit different as it appears yours will be shipped but if they allow it for in store I don't see why you couldn't for a shipping phone.

I used Apple Pay but in a hurry I used the wrong card.

I've been trying to call since 5AM PST and no luck getting through to anyone. Frustrating.
I was able to change my shipping address to my work address online no problem though.

I was able to fix the mistake online on the order page after it went from received to processing.
Just an update, I called this morning around 11AM and I kid you not, I was on hold until 2:30 PM (i wish I had taken a pic of the call duration, not even joking lol) but yeah i'm a patient person so it didn't bother me too much and i've worked in retail a lot so I know how stressful and swamped the Apple employees are but anyways, the guy was able to update my payment method from Apple Pay to a different credit card and change the shipping name as well. So definitely give Apple a call and they will take care of you but do keep in mind the hold times will be pretty long but if you stick through it, you can get the adjustments made to your order.
