Changing Slide to Unlock Screen

Hi,

I recently purchased a first generation iphone off someone, and have been spending the past few days trying to change the "slide to unlock screen" when the phone is not on charge. When the phone starts up, and when it locks after 15 seconds, the wallpaper on the screen is cars. I'd like to change this, but I have only been able to change the battery slide to unlock screen as of yet.

It's the standard Wallpaper setting.

Settings > Wallpaper

unfortunately, the standard wallpaper setting doesn't change anything.

Is the phone jailbroken?

Do they have SummerBoard, Customize or something like that on there? If so then check the settings on that.
