The pictures of the 5c show iOS 7 with black text. Is this functionality reserved for the 5c? I've searched all the settings and can't find an option for black text -- only bold.

Do you mean lock/home screen text? This changes depending on your wallpaper.

If you change your wallpaper to something white then the text should change to black.

Or any light colored wallpaper where white would be hard to read.

Hmm. Strange then because my lock screen wallpaper has an white background with color sports logo. The time, date, etc. text is also white making it hard to see.

Does the color of the home screen wallpaper override the lock screen, i.e., if you have a dark home screen wallpaper text will be white no matter what color the lock screen wallpaper is?
