General Changing the color of the status bar text

Hey everyone,

Does anyone know how to change the color of the status bar text? I have tried googling and looking around and I really don't see much. Ideally someone would have a .plist file that is used with winterboard... Does something like that exist?

You need Flex 2 to get that done, once you buy it search for the patch under Springboard category. it's called "Change Statusbar colors..."

OMG there's a way! Thank you for the response. I shall try this when I have time.

I don't have a "Change Statusbar colors..." in my springboard area on the cloud.

(I'm an amateur with flex 2 =P)

Edit 2: It actually messes up the lockscreen status bar... lol. I shall play with it later.

Interesting find. Anyone know the color codes for colors? I suck figuring that out.

That appears to work for the lockscreen color. But the homescreen is the one I want changed. If i use the flex 2 tweak, it seems to push up the lockscreen status bar so it's half out of view - really weird.

Edit: Woo figured it all out!

Combining lockify pro and the flex 2 tweak I can independently control the color of the homescreen and lockscreen status bars! Thank you to all who helped! 🙂

SameStatus on Cydia.
I never had this problem because i have the Status bar disabled on my lockscreen, much cleaner look.

The reason it gets cut off is cause the status bar is wider on the lockscreen than the homescreen.

Go into the settings of lockify, status bar, and turn on the slider for Status Bar Stays Same Size.
