Changing volume turns screen on!

ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!

When using any app and changing the volume via buttons THE SCREEN AUTO TURNS ON!

Iphone 4s happend for both beta 1 and 2

Yeah did it for me on Beta 1, but not currently on Beta 2.

Basically he means when the phone is locked and you press one of the volume buttons the screen turns on and shows the 'slide to unlock' page.

It's a new feature. It wasn't in iOS 5. When you are listening to music or something and you lock your device, when you press the volume button (up or down) then the screen shows up. It's not a bug.

How is that a feature? I swear to god if apple doenst fix/allow you to change it i am switching phones

This is actually a god send for me. The two iPhones I have owned have had a home button that has **** the bed in terms of losing its functionality. As it stands, I need to press the home or lock switch (which is also broken) with the force of a thousand angry hammers to turn the screen on. Having another pair buttons to accomplish this task is welcome.
