Forgive me if this has already been addressed, but I have searched and have not been able to locate the information I need.
Here's my problem. I work in an office where the graphic artists have two computers at their desk, one pc and one mac. Or at least we all used to. My pc crashed a few months back and since I hate the things I asked if I could just use the mac and we could move all artwork over to that format. I did get e-mail and every thing else to work and I can mount the windows drives that I need access to and everything without any problems. Issue is, that the IT department demands we change our passwords every 30 days. I am getting tired of having to go to the IT department and asking them to change mine for me. Is there a way I can do this from my mac? Am I not seeing a utility I can use to do this or do I need to load something else? When I did a search for this I came up with a thread about using Remote Desktop, but since I am not remotely connecting to a desktop that I have access to I can't see how this would work for me. The only time I even need this password is when I am logging in to e-mail or mounting one of the drives on the server. I have gone as long as I can and have searched the internet and various sites using many different words and phrases and keep coming up empty. Please help if you can and please ask for clarification if you need it. Thanks folks, I appreciate your help.
