I don't like the fact that the USB portion is completely exposed. Good idea though.

no offense, but this is lame. if you can lug around your laptop or a charging plug, why wouldn't you carry the cable also?

Is this worth to buy over a regular lightning cable? I thought I might just buy one of these to keep in my backpack but its the same price..

No offense, but you've got very limited imagination if you can't see a situation where someone has the need to charge their phone when they're NOT carrying their laptop[bag].

If you're going to keep it in your backpack it's pretty much only a question of preference. The cable is a lot more practical, but also prone to tangling...

You obviously missed the point. Even with the card, you still need a power source.

The cable is prone to tangling...hilarious.

Of course a power source is needed, but I would assume even you understand that it's far easier to find a power source (USB-port) for charging your phone with the Charge Card than it is to find a way to charge your phone if you don't have the Charge Card.

Are you trying to say it's not? For someone who keeps a bunch of stuff in the same pocket, picking up a charger cable can be a bit more work than just picking up a card.

Roll up a third party lightning cable neatly and flat. Put in wallet. Save $20.

This is me. I have carried my cord to work when I work long days. I hate having a cord in my pocket which is why I like the idea. I feel that this is the closest answer to my dilemma because I have power sources at work but do not have a cord.

The Charge Card saves me space in my pockets but still gives me the same function. Not to mention, now I don't have to worry about forgetting my only cord and it can stay beside my bed!

Not sure if any of you guys have heard about the Charge Card or not, but I just posted a review about the company and their 30-pin Charge Card. After emailing the COO, he created a new discount code to give free shipping world wide and take off $5. That means that all charge cards are the same price as a cord!

Use the Discount Code "MacRumors"

I have really enjoyed using my Charge Card, you guys should check out their products here!

Where's the review? I'd like to read it:D

I don't get how you guys struggle to see the use for this. I think maybe with the iPhone 4/4S it might not be needed as much (at least for me) because a lot of places have a standard dock connector, but, the new lightning is not as common.

For instance - going to a party or after party, whatever it may be. Friends have USB plugs etc. but you don't have your cable. If this was in your wallet you could charge your phone. Just scenarios like this.

It is not meant to be a "okay, i'm going to work" or "heading to the library" planned events where you have your stuff.
