Is the charger from the first generation to the s4 exactly the same or is it upgraded at all? I want to give someone my ss first gen and I have 2 chargers.

I believe it’s the same charger, it is also just as a shorter length with the cable. But it will work for your Series 4.

I was actually thinking the reverse. I want to keep my ss charger and give away the one that came with my s4.

I like to keep all my chargers in the event that one starts to unravel. This way I will have a backup and don't have to spend extra money.

I know the series 2 and series 3 watches and chargers work interchangeably, and everything I've heard is all apple watches/chargers should work interchangeably.
