....charger Broke.....

well at the vary least we all can prove the USB cord can be a prob and apple should look into it.. And if everyone puts pix up maybe it will be seen by some big wig apple person 🙂 I hope that no one gets shocked to death or burned bad.... Fun times

I knew that apple recalled the part you plug into the wall but I have not seen the recall for the USB cord... Am I missing something sir 😛

Agreed. Or in this case just unplug the power strip and all devices plugged into it. Even with all that I would still use insulated tools or take it to a genius.
 
So there was mass coverage on how this was unsafe to use... yet you kept using it.

Mine arrived today.

Now I just have to find a DHL dropbox somewhere to send back the old one. You'd think considering how cheap these things are, Apple wouldn't want the old one back. Probably costs more to ship it....especially if they're just going to throw them away.

so is there anything different about it?? did you just get the charger
or both charger and usb cord??? 😕
