I am looking for a second charger for my Apple Watch 11 (I am travelling often and plan to use the Apple charger in one place and another in another place). One way is to get another Apple charger, but I am also thinking of getting either a Stand charger or a travel charger, like the Anker MagGo. The Anker page says the latter is compatible with the AW 7 to 9. Would it work with the AW 11 ?
More generally, how to make sure a charger is compatible ?

You'll have to ask Anker why they claim that. Seems oddly specific.

Apple's chargers are compatible with any model watch; only thing is that older chargers may not provide fast-charging to new watches but they'll still charge them.

all watches are compatible with all chargers. The main difference to look for is fast charge. you may have to dig into the specs of the charger to find it.

If you charge overnight, fast charge is less of an issue. as even slow charge will get there in a few hours. If you wear it to sleep, having the fast charge is nice, so it's not off your wrist as long. or to grab a quick top up.

The Dock connector is long gone, as are the iPods that utilized them.

It was supplanted by Lightning, which is also gone.

But there is still one part of the MFi licensing program that oversees the electrical function of accessories, and requires Apple-sanctioned components, like with the 30-pin and Lightning connectors.

That part is applicable to the Watch, with the Made for Apple Watch program, and its badge.

A lot of third-party accessories skip it, because of the costs involved, and either work around it by providing a place for an OE Apple puck to fit into in their product, or by employing a substitute charging module.

The latter solution may function without issues. Or it may not. Or may not with the next new Watch model.

That's the gamble one makes when choosing a product that does not have the MFW badge. As it was with non-MFi cables.

How lucky do you feel?

Many thanks for the answers!
I think the best course of action is to first ask Anker, which I will do.
I might end up just buying one more Apple charger although it is a bit less convenient (for travel a common charger would makes more sense).

I use the Anker Cube. But instead of using a 30-40 watt charger, I use a 10 watt charger it is slow and my phone or watch never heat up but both watch and 17 PM are fully charged in the AM.
