I've noticed recently that my phone no longer gives me the "double-buzz" confirmation vibration when connecting to my charger and whilst on silent.

Vibration works for all other functions as normal.
I get the audio charging notification when silent is OFF.

Is this normal behaviour in iOS 10?
Or does my phone need to go to the Genius Bar?

Device: iPhone 6 Plus
iOS: 10.0.2

I'm not sure if mine is wrong or yours is wrong. Are you on DND? I'm also on 10.1 beta so maybe they changed it or something? But my 7 plus definitely does one vibrate when I plug it in when on silent/dnd.

Mine doesn't vibrate at all when connecting the charger on silent - single or double buzz.
(not in DnD mode).

I've noticed something similar on my 6S plus since the upgrade to iOS 10.0.2. Sometimes I plug it in and after 10 seconds or so it will do the double vibration, sometimes it doesn't do it at all, leading me to think it's a bug and that it should be vibrating.

Strangely, now on two occasions, it has performed the double vibrations 3 times in a row, making it go crazy with 6 vibrations. Hopefully this is fixed soon

Can we have a show of hands?

Anyone reading this - where possible, please plug your phone into it's charger whilst it's set to silent and post here what vibration pattern you receive.....

Make sure haptics are on, for 7 & 7 plus users.
Many thanks!
