I bought the 29 watt charger and 2M USB-c to lightning cable for my current 12.9" IPP because charger was just.... inadequate.
Nothing is mentioned in specs in apples website about which charger is included in the box this time round so I'm just wondering. Since my husband will acquire the old IPP he'll need the 29 watt charger too so wondering if I order off Apple website should I also order another 29 watt charger with it?

12 watt comes with it. I bought 2 sets of 29 watt charger and 2 meter cables so I don't have to deal with the inadequate stock adapter.

I guess it must be what you do with your iPad! I use mine mostly for content consumption and photo editing with Affinity Photo for iPad. When I got my 12.9" ipp 2 weeks ago, I was surprised to see that it gets a little longer battery usage than my 9.7" ipp. I can charge it overnight or even use while charging, no problems and this is with the 12 W charger. Plus I got a normal length cable with my order, I had read here that some are getting a shorter cable.

I just got the 2017 12.9 IPP and it came with short cable, and 12 watt charger. I bought the 29 watt USB-C charger, and a 2 M USB-c to Lightning cable. I get a discount at Apple anyway since I am in the military.
