Charger-Sport vs stainless

I have the sport watch which has the plastic charging puck. Bought a spare from Apple which is the one that comes on more expensive watch and is I believe stainless. The back gets maybe twice as hot as the plastic back puck. Is this typical with the stainless one?

While I don't own both it sounds plausible since steel will hold heat more than plastic.

It just makes the watch warmer too.

I had both and the charger for the stainless seems to be of a better quality. The magnet is a lot stronger and holds the watch more firmly
