I don't have an Apple Watch yet but looking into it.
I see it comes with a USB-C cable but I don't have a charger like that just old usb chargers from old iPhones

which charger should I get ? I have an iPhone 13 and I would like to charge both watch and phone at the same time

If you want to make use of the fast charging ability, the brick needs to be at least 20w. If you don't care about that. you can still charge with the regular brick that came with the older watches. If you use the 5w brick, it will just take a little longer is all. I recommend sticking with Apple bricks, whichever one you may decide to get.

brick? do you mean this one? https://www.apple.com/uk/shop/produ...d26f03b15acd9b42e1076a9ac74951c1459f2b18fc11d

I don't have any old watch chargers because I never had a watch.. I only have old iPhone chargers but only takes USB cables

If you're looking to charge both at the same time, this looks to be the way to go. It seems fair to assume that they haven't removed the blocks from their charging stations.......yet. Otherwise, just grab the brick you linked, above, if you just need a power source that will work for both products. I assume you're using an old USB-A to lightning right now, to charge your phone. This will solve that as well, so you can use the new cord that came with the 13.

Apple Watch fast charge also works with the 18w power adapters supplied with iPad Pros.

what brand is that one?, I never heard of it.. I would rather get one from a reputable brand when it comes to chargers

I think the iPhone 13 has some minor fit issues with the magsafe duo because of how big its camera is. It should still work, but may prove irritating over time.

I am currently using the Belkin 3-in-1 magsafe charger. A little on the pricey side, but I like it.

Alas, both don't seem to support fast charging for the Series 7.

I really like the Belkin 3-in-1. Seems to be in short supply now. I wonder if they will update it to fast charge the Apple Watch Series 7?

Hi IUBall22,

This linked to Anker Model A2633 which is 18 watts. You need the 20w version which is Model A2637:

Anker 511 20w Nano

Edit to add correction: 18w PD is sufficient to fast charge AW7. Sorry!

Here's the official answer from Apple:

  • Apple 18W, 20W, 29W, 30W, 61W, 87W, or 96W USB-C Power Adapter
  • A comparable third-party USB-C power adapter that supports USB Power Delivery (USB-PD) of 5W or greater

For travelling I prefer the folding pins, so have just ordered 2 of these for me and my wife. The older bricks I have won’t fast charge.

Agree about the folding prongs for travel. I quite like the Spigen 20w ArcStation Pro (UL cert): Spigen 20w Power Delivery GaN Charger.
Happy Trails!

In the UK its a really simple choice. Just get the apple one as it has a really nice folding pin design which is essential for travelling.

they don't even sell it anymore . I didn't have any kind of USB-c charger at home so I had to buy something on the day that's why I got the 20w from the apple store
my 18w is for my iphone 11 pro. i still have it maybe used once or twice but i usually use my 12 watt adapter old one.
