charging ipad

the dude at the store told me to always charge it from the wall. but when i have it hooked up to the imac to sync, i notice that it charges.

so...can i leave it hooked up on the synch cable to the imac all the time?

Yes. It's not particularly good for the battery to have it plugged in at all times, but it won't damage it any more than leaving it plugged into the wall will.

you can, it will just charge really slow.

ok, let me be sure i understand.

i can leave it hooked up to the iMac. it will charge it, just slower than if to the wall. SHOULD i do it? Or just sit it on the desk.

do you mean you want to leave it connected all the time?
the question would be why? charge it, unplug it and GO!
i rarely plug it into the computer and only to back it up, generally plug into the wall when i go to bed, unplug in the morning and i'm off...
