Charging iPhone from non-sync'd computer?

Hi,

Is it possible for me to simply charge my iPhone using the usb port of my laptop PC even though my iPhone is set up to be sync'd with my iMac?

If iTunes is on the computer the phone may pop up in there. It might even ask if you want to sync with this computer. Just say 'no' and you'll be fine. I charge my phone on many different computers during the day and I've never had an issue.
