I have 2007 MacBook and I've been experiencing problems charging it.

The charging light would stay green, but the battery level is low.

I assumed the charger went bad, so I purchased a new one, but that didn't solve the issue. The light still remains green, and the battery level stays at 19% and says "Not Charging". Do I need a new battery?

How can I fix this?

If you live near an Apple Store, take it in and have a Genius run a battery test. You probably won't get a new one for free (3 year old mac) but they'll swap it out for you.
