Charging MacBook Pro with Anker PowerPort?

Hi everyone,

I just received my MacBook Pro 13 TB, and wanted to know if I can charge it using a PowerPort 40W from Anker and an USB-C to USB-A cable...

What do you think?
Would be pretty useful while travelling to just have the PowerPort to charge ipad, iphone and macbook..
But don't know if it could damage the macbook and/or provide enough power...
