Charging pins

Is it possible to bend the charging pins in the lighting port ? With bend charging pins will the phone still charge ?

If you apply enough pressure, it can bend or break the pins/adapter. As far as charging is considered, it all depends on the amount of damage suffered.

I think I bent mine on my 6+ because sometimes I would plug my charger in and it wouldn't charge.
