I'm still holding myself from switching to 7 because I'm waiting for the Fall update. (I'm currently using 6)

The verdict. I am experiencing trouble charging the phone. It disconnects from the charger just because of a single touch so I have to be careful when putting it on a desk. Also it doesn't work with most chargers I use and even powerbanks or other cables, and I gotta push pretty hard to make sure it's charging. Sure as hell the port is not doing okay because those chargers are fine with other iPhones.

    Thoughts?

I would check the lightning port to see if there is lint in there- that's the most common cause.

I would also make an appt at the Genius Bar to troubleshoot hardware. If you are nice and there is a problem, Apple has been known to be very generous.

Have you ever tried cleaning out the lightning port?
I have seen pretty large balls of fuzz come tumbling out of that port, with a little "Persuasion" from a toothpick, something else small. I also use an old shaver cleaning brush, but best is something straight, a little stiff, that you can dig a little, gentle scraping up the end of the port will usually dislodge something, if it is there.

(calbear92 has the same idea, not original to me :D )

    Yeah do that.
Ps: try not to plug or unplug charging cable from your iPhone in a rush.
