Charging the new battery

Do I need to charge my new iphone completely (out of the box) before I use it? The rep told me these batteries do not have memory, is that true?

Yeah thats true

The phones have lithium ion battiers and they do not have a battery, but experience tells me it is always best to completley drain the battery or there abouts then recharge instead of charging at any point if it can be avoided. 😉
