iPod touch Charging?

Is there any problem leaving the I touch USB charging cable hooked up to my Mac basically permanently? Instead of having to remove the cable each time I charge the I touch. TIA.

I leave the iPod Touch cable attached to my iMac all the time unless I need the port for something else. It's never caused a problem.

It doesn't matter. I don't think it's using any extra power, unless something is attached to the other end.
