Same thing happened to me this morning. I ordered iphone6 at midnight and got confirmation email immediately. About 40 min later, I got a fraud alert email from chase asking me to call 800 454 9078. I was suspicious of that number, so I contacted chase directly, and the rep said they will call me back after reviewing my account today. But there was no callback until now and nothing came up on my credit card account. I just called them again, the rep kept saying just wait for a call from them. I called verizon to confirm my order and explained the situation. The verizon rep said it happens a lot, so there is nothing to worry about, and also they will contact me if there's any problem in my order. But I'm still worried... Anyone who ordered thru verizon website? The charges appeared on your card account?
