Chase is offering their travel redemption rate for iPhone products with the Chase Sapphire credit cards. I was able to purchase an iPhone 12 Pro for 66,600 points with my Chase Sapphire Reserve Card.

I was having a fierce internal debate on whether to drop $1k on this phone but this made it a lot easier for me.

Do you know how to track the order with the order number provided by chase reward?

No, just by calling. You're supposed to get an e-mail when it ships. I was disappointed to see the ship date at 4-6 weeks but I'll be patient.

Could’ve just bought Apple gift cards at grocery or home improvement stores and then did the PYB for CSR and got the phone much quicker. That’s what I did. And then if there are issues your purchase is through Apple and not via a portal.

I now regret using my Chase points to purchase an Apple product on the portal. It turned out that they didn't follow Apple's return policy and refused to take it back (even after I reported that it was defective). Hope this doesn't happen to you!

i'm currently going through the same problem trying to return some accessories i bought, not realizing the policy... it's complete BS because i literally scoured the ultimate rewards apple store for anything about a return policy, and i can't find a single mention of it - even the order confirmation email - until the SHIPPING confirmation email. one of the Chase reps i spoke with was SO snarky and was like "read the email, what does it say, if i was you i would have cancelled once i learned that" like come on.... this is what my chase reserve fee gets me during a year of pandemic and no travel?! so disappointed in chase for pretty much the first time

i called apple to open a case and they indicated i could make a swap with them still... anybody try that? given how hard it is to get in store for an applecare+ appointment i don't want it to be all for nothing. the chase reps indicated they had their own special chase applecare+ partnership of some sort and that i coudln't do that, even though the apple agent said i could...

sorry i'm just here ranting after searching to see if anybody else hit the same issue as me. so frustrating

Good idea

has anyone gotten a sooner shipping range than the original 4-6 weeks estimate? getting antsy waiting...and it's only been two weeks.

when i called after initially ordering, they quoted me around Dec 14-29....
