Cheap DDR3 RAM for UK MacBook Pro users!

Just ordered 8GB Ram for my 13" MBP from http://www.crucial.com/uk/index.aspx

They quote everywhere about the new 20% VAT but at time of writing this post, they haven't updated their checkout system, as it still calculates it at 17.5%.

The prices shown on the site, end up being higher than the ones when you go to checkout.

The RAM has decreased significantly in price over the past month or so, and if you're quick you could get 2.5% off too. 🙂

They have put their prices up, 20% of £74.99 (lets round it to £75) is £15,
£75 + £15 = £90

Price listed inc. VAT - £89.99

Looks like everyone missed this. I managed to get my RAM at 17.5% 🙂

Still, their prices for 8GB of RAM for a MBP is still great.

There was 8gig of ram yesterday on newegg for $64.99. Still makes me hate paying apple $360 for it... 🙁
