To get cheap or free telephone support:

Instead of calling Apple Computers (AppleCare) on 0870 8760753

Call 0207 1539000 to get Applestore, Regent St.

- Call them when they are open, choose option 2 & then transfer to Technical Support! This is the UK geographical number.

Great post, good to see this mentioned. I use this all the time rather than paying for an 0870 call, especially when calling from a mobile.

Btw, it's not just Apple you can do this for, check out www.saynoto0870.co.uk and you can usually find a cheaper (or sometimes freephone) number for just about any company 😎
