    Hey,

I'm looking to upgrade my 80GB HDD to (ideally) a 250GB one, has anybody got any recommendations as to where to buy in the UK?

I've been looking at the 250GB 5400rpm one on scan.co.uk. I'd post a link but I cannot get on Scan on my work computer, will update later. If memory serves correct it is around £87.

Thanks for any help or guidance!

    Adam

    2.5 or 3.5 internal ?

If 2.5 there's the WD scorpio 320GB for around £30 more than your quote

Again 2.5 the Hitachi Travelstar 250GB for around £85

Again 2.5 the WD scorpio 250GB for around £80

    All are excellent drives

There are many good outlets in the uk if you decide on one of these drives

I recently got a 250GB WD Scorpio for $115 (£59) on eBay. NIB too, I recommend looking there, he said he shipped internationally as well.

    2.5" - Macbook.

320GB sounds nice! Is the only diasdvantage of spin speed the battery consumption?
