cheap microphone for my 550d/t2i?

Hey Guys,
Just got my 550d and i'm using it for video quite heavily. Can anyone suggest me a fairly cheap microphone that I can use with it please? Preferably one that can be mounted on the camera. I'm not looking for anything too expensive, just something better than the inbuilt one. Wasn't sure whether to post this here or over at digital video but oh well 😛

Have a hunt at the forums there, see what people are saying. From what I can remember, the Zoom H2 and H4n are popular choices.
