Here is one, but damn the prices went up by like 20-30 bucks!!!

If you're not in a rush I would wait a little. It seems like prices fluctuate and wow did they rise. 20-30 bucks more is a lot to pay for something i got 2 months ago for cheaper.

I'm quoting pc2-6400 there as an example. I think current macbooks take something else (with the slot in a different spot but the speed escapes me right now...).
The CL number refers to latency of the RAM. You can google search for a ton of posts discussing it and it's value. I'm using it here simply as a measure of RAM quality.
...but if you went to that link, you'd see it was "temp out of stock"... they'll update the prices when they get it again and it will be more expensive...

Same here, bought 4GB of RAM from Crucial in August for my 15" MBP for $60, only to find it's now $80.
Why are the prices rising, after holding or dropping for months/years?
