Cheapest, best iPhone 4 case

I got the white replicase from the US seller and LOVE it! I am actually using it more than my SGP leather case right now. It does have some flash issues - but I'm not a phone flash user unless I need a fill if the subject is backlit.
I was using the replicase on my phone at a wedding reception this weekend and I had to tell the folks checking out my phone that it had a case on it when they asked about "the reception issue". "It has a case on it?" was the reaction I got. Granted - it was a bit dark in the reception hall.....
Well I actually bought two... Black and White from one of the 3.99 Hong Kong seller. I have that "free" (2.99 shipping) iWrap thing coming soon so I can wait for this fun case 🙂
And I have a free bumper coming too 😀
Anyway, do you have the flash problem with other color or just the white one?

I only have the white one. The folks in Munden, Kansas evidently aren't aware that the white iphone 4 is unavailable - though one of them did have a 3GS. No bars out there though. I don't think I've ever been anywhere that had less than two bars of service!

The replicase looks really nice in person. Most of my old phones lived in Vaja cases so I am pretty picky about my cases. I have also owned a lot of cases, and I think that my $8.00 with shipping case looks pretty sweet. Eventually my phone will be encased in a Vapor bumper and then probably a Vaja ivolution, but this "cheap" case rocks!

Well - I also have my SGP Vintage Edition leather flip case if I feel the need to dress my phone up a bit more. I love the smell of leather. So yeah - I can wait a bit for "the good case" without getting too impatient. I know it will be here eventually 🙂

I got that sgp Vintage Edition Leather case in and thought it looked kind of flimsy, kind of not well put together , especially at the joint. Ended up selling it right away.

Mine wasn't flimsy at all. I put it next to my two Vaja ivolution cases and they feel and look pretty similar. I also discovered that the first gen iphone Vaja ivolution top and classic pouches can actually fit the iphone 4. Since the 4 is thinner and a bit longer it is tight on the top and bottom of the ivolution and doesn't fit quite flush to the back, but it holds and snaps shut. The pouch actually fits quite nicely.
I received one of the white Replicase ones and while it looks great it is not worth the $9 I spent on it. It doesn't fit well; the iphone doesn't stay all the way "in" the case and pops back out a little -- difficult to describe, not that it comes out of the case but that it can shift a little within the case.
The killer though, which may just be with the white version, is the camera flash completely fogs the image. Utterly unusable.

I got this one too. I have mixed feelings about it though. I like it, fits well, feels good in the hand.
Headphone cutout is way too small. Even the OEM Apple phones don't fit. 😕
Docking port cutout is also too small. OEM Apple cable fits but has to stretch the opening a bit wider. Aftermarket cables don't fit. 🙁
For $3 though I figure it can be modded with an X-acto knife to handle these deficiencies.

The one I got from the US seller is open at the top and bottom - it just covers the corners so the access to the port and the headphone jack is great. It also holds my phone REALLY tight. I'm afraid it's going to break if I take it off!

Haven't tried or seen these cases on the iPhone 4 but there are 3g(s) cases just like the ones in the link and they fit/protect pretty good.

I got mine in blue and it is a great fit. It's actually pretty difficult to get it out. I love the case for the $8 I spent. Also I had a problem with the flash but put black sharpie around the inside of the camera/flash cut out and the problem is solved. I ordered Gelaskins before I got this case otherwise I would be buying the case in another color or two.

The texture of the case is great and the plastic is about 1mm thick so it barely adds any bulk.
I paid $9.99 for the case but thats because I wanted to get it from a US seller so I got it in 2 business days as opposed to 3-4 weeks for the same case for 4.99 from Hong Kong.

Can you post a pic of the blue please? If the white iphone ever comes out, these colored ones should look great!
