yawn, old clip...

and, what does this have to do with "mac hardware" ?

[sorry about the bitchy reply, i'm a lil cranky]

Why apologise when you didn't have to type the bitchy reply in the first place? Who cares if you're a little cranky, it's no reason to be a flamer.

I've never seen this clip before either and it explains a lot of reasons for why Longhorn is taking so long.

Yes, that's very old news..

I always enjoyed 1) the sweat stains, 2) "give it up for me", 3) and how he appears to hurt himself (he doesn't appear all that athletic does he?).

Balmer.

Ya, these have been around for a while. Here's the second segment. Somewhat "sweatier" version set to "Monkey Developers" which adds a little more zing. I've used it in several presentations under the category/genre of 'Over the Top While Letting Them See You Sweat'

Hehe. That's pretty funny. I can't imagine Steve jumping up and down like that.

So who is that Bill Gates guy?

Steve Ballmer, the CEO of Microsoft.

Whenever I see that clip, I always think, "Wow! What would be do if Longhorn actually met a deadline?"

I thought Bill was the CEO and monkeyboy Ballmer was the President of Microsoft.

But yea, way old clip.

Balmer is actually the CEO now.

sad but true haha.... but really Microsoft isn't that horrible of a company when you consider the customer base they deal with. However, even if Tiger had the viruses and security issues of Windows XP I would still use Tiger for the user interface. I just love how it looks and feels... so smooth :)

that's funny (so is the iPod from macboy)

I hadn't seen it, so I appreciate the post (crickey, ya buncha grumpy wee lads!)

I just can't believe the CEO of microsofy would get up and make such a fool of himself, surely it can't be very good for Microsoft's image to be doing something like that....

Imagine Steve jobs doing that at WWDC 2006 when he announces the first Macintel lol :D

ShadOW :)

He kinda looks like Dr Phil on speeeeeeeeeeeed!

(or a Fat old Tom Cruise declaring his love for Katie)

That's funny to picture it in my head.

Good ole' Steve ought to do that at his next keynote. That'd probably do wonders to get the shareholders excited about the future of leadership at Apple.

--I can just see it now - jobs runs around, hooting and hollering, then all of a sudden calms down sits down and begins talking about universal binaries and Intel processor architecture roadmaps :p
