Just stop and think about this for a moment...someone built a "store" out of Lego. If that doesn't tell you the value of a brand, I don't know what does.

I can't even imagine someone from Ted Waitt's family (Gateway's founder) doing this...let alone a stranger. Same for any other tech-store (CompUSA? BestBuy? the failed Microsoft store?)

Maybe...just maybe...someone might do this for Starbucks. But not a store.

Anyway...as I nerd who actually has a Lego room in my basement (many cherished hours of building sets with my son), I salute this creator. Well done!

They need to make an Apple Park set. It would retail for $1499.
Oh yeah, and you need to get Apple Care for it of course which covers:
  1. Brick Replacement Program: Lost a piece? Ate a piece? Dog ate a piece? No worries! Our Brick Replacement Program will ensure your Apple Park remains architecturally sound. We’ll dispatch a replacement faster than you can say “Where did that tiny tree go?”
  2. Experiencing a building block breakdown at 3 AM? Our expert LEGO technicians are on standby, ready to guide you through the intricacies of reassembling Tim Cook’s office window. They speak fluent LEGO.
  3. Accidental Damage Coverage: Cat decided your Apple Park is the new scratching post? Kid thought it was a cool new toy to throw around? With our accidental damage coverage, those incidents will be mere stepping stones in your quest for LEGO perfection.

Don’t forget the $999 stand, $699 glass cover, and $499 wheel set so you can roll the model around. The glass cover even comes with a polishing cloth (you can also buy extras for $69)! If you buy these accessories, Apple Care becomes a much better deal as well, since it covers the accessories for free when purchased with the model!

I saw someone on Reddit post this asking for votes..
I like it although its a shame they didnt lean into the floating stairs further, which from memory was a (weird) patent Jobs had.

It seems everybody is ignoring this, but what ist this supposed to be ?

I have never seen something like this in any Apple Store.

The build looks very very good BUT Lego will only consider it if they get approval from Apple due to the copyright and trademarks because not only of the Apple logo being used but also the design concept of the store which would be trademarked.

In my opinion this will not go ahead due to issue of items resembling apple products. In the pictures you can see pictures of lego made to look like computers and mobile phones. The problem is this is an apple store thus all the items inside are meant to be apple products which means they would have to come under Apple's licensing and if that was to happen, everything in that store would then be licensed to apple meaning no one would be able to build a computer like in the images or a mobile phone or those headphones because they would all be under Apple's license and thus if anyone wanted to use something similar they would have to get Apple's approval first.

Some of the items in the store are actually generic parts, the headphones for example and the computers. Apple would have to agree that generic lego parts cannot be licensed to Apple. If Apple were to agree then it is possible the build could be approved but Apple would have to agree to a lot of compromises on licensing to allow that to happen.

The only way it could become a real set is if it would be modified to represent a "generic" "tech" store (mostly remove the Apple logo and make some other minor modifications)
Not so. If Apple agrees to licensing - maybe even carrying the LEGO set in stores - then LEGO will be free to use the likeness of the retailer. Other companies do this all the time (see LEGO's Disneyland set).
