Every time I see people spending (relatively) huge amounts of money for items like this, my faith in humanity dips a little bit.
There are so many things which are paid for many, many times the objective value... I mean where would art be without people seeing insane value in it?Every time I see people spending (relatively) huge amounts of money for items like this, my faith in humanity dips a little bit.
I have some that dates back to the dinosaurs. Special offer for you, only $75K.What’s next?
A bag of CO2 that Steve Jobs breathed?
A steaming turd would fetch a higher price. Or so I'm told. What’s next?
A bag of CO2 that Steve Jobs breathed?
Fossilized poo of Steve Jobs. What’s next?
A bag of CO2 that Steve Jobs breathed?
Most Google stuff shows about the check, but there is a LinkedIn for Jim Crampton:Where is Crampton , Remke & Miller Inc today 🤔
Interesting the first four for WF CA are still the same, but the rest are different, and routing are nine digits today. It would be great if the routing and account still existed.
You make money posting on internet forums?Wish I had the money to do this so I could not do this but instead do something way cooler.
When you have money to spare on stuff like this you usually have everything else.Wish I had the money to do this so I could not do this but instead do something way cooler.
I wondered the same thing. Did a bank employee just stash it?So was the check never cashed? If it was, wouldn't it have gone through the banking system and been returned to Apple? It's not exactly like the recipient could deposit it by snapping a pic in his bank's app. ;-)
EDIT....in the image, there is a faint view of the stamping on the back when a check would be cashed....but then how did someone come into possession of it?
I have the feeling that once the generation that grew up in the Steve Jobs era dies, the value of this kind of items will plummet.Besides... more often than not it's an investor's game. They expect to earn money off it...
You young peopleI wondered the same thing. Did a bank employee just stash it?
The article explains the address. When Apple was just a "suite" in an office building.
Also, first itme I ever saw someone's grill plastered on the front of a check.
