Checking a PCIe Card is working?

Hey guys

I just added a firewire PCIe card to my mac pro and was wondering how I can check if its all seen by the system and OK if I havent yet taken delivery of the device that will plug into it...

I cant see anything in my*'about this mac' that indicated anything

Go to:

1. The Apple on the Far left of the Menu Bar, drag the mouse down and click on "About This Mac"
2. Click on "More Info" In the Box that appears
3. Click on "System Report" in the new box that appears
4. Scroll down to "PCI Cards" in the new larger box with the listing. "PCI Cards" is listed a little more than 1/2 way down the first listing group on the left side. Click on it, the card information will be listed under the heading "Card" just to the right of the list.
