Wow, Bernie Mac yesterday and Isaac Hayes today :(.

I wonder who's next . . .

He was a great musician. I'm a little sad that he seems to be being remembered more for a part in a cartoon than for his great albums, but maybe that's a generational thing.

I agree. His role in South Park made him famous with a new generation, but the music didn't seem to carry over.

And that's a shame. I'm a big fan of his music, and none of my friends no him other than for his role in South Park (and the Shaft theme, of course).

sad to hear that he has passed away as well. thoughts go out to his family anc close ones. he was a talented man.

Wow, a soul/stacks legend. A large part of the stacks sound came from Isaac Hayes alone. RIP.

Technically the South Park character Chef died when Issac Hayes left the show when they made fun of Scientology... :(

yg17, that is hilarious! Stuff like that is why I love South Park! :p

Hell, I watch South Park so much I can actually understand Kenny! Seriously!

We only can hope that through his death even the younger generation will get in touch with his music...

R.I.P. Sir Hayes, you`ll never be forgotten

I can't stand it when people do this, RIP you will be missed, never forgotten blah blah blah..

Yes, its very sad when somebody dies, but what is the point of making such a fuss, 'youll never be forgotten' i'm sorry but in a few weeks no one will speak of him.

It's just the whole someones died lets all make a big fuss and pretend we loved them syndrome...

My next door neighbour died, I didn't like them so I don't go round now pretending I did, (I don't slag them off, but I don't build this person up to be some Christ like figure)

Is it really necessary?!

Guys calm down a little...!
